EUROPEAN CHAMPIONS

Well last week on wendsday I departed for our final 4 day varsity softball tournament in Hilingdon England! As from the title you can probably gather that it went pretty well, the first night we just went to our host families house and then they took Sarah and I to a varsity baseball game which was fun but the next morning the competition started. We came out of our pool in 1st place undefeated and then also won our cross over game putting us in the championship game! Also between these games in the evening Thursday we went to a music preformance which was interesting and then Friday we hit the town, 14 girls, some money, two older brothers, lots of stores, one town and one fun night. We went all around London for a few hours of fun with our team which was really great but the next morning we had our Big game. The weather had been nice the whole time except when we start warming up the clouds start to roll in....either way we still played the game, which ended up being against Frankfurt, who by the way we lost to 3 times during the regular season, the game was intense we started with a two point lead and then lost it and were down by three but then came up by four more and they just couldn't catch up leaving the final score 9-7 making St. John's the winner for the first time in history! and of course on the flight back we had to celebrate with champagne (or white wine) only in Europe right!



Also since I last posted I went to Prom which was fun (once again me n the girls)
and also participated in another softball tournament in which we got 4th! well just figured i'd let everyone know what was going on! Up next Graduation on Saturday and then throughout the summer playing Belgian league tournaments and coaching a little league team should be fun, with a vacation in there somewhere. well more later :)
