WHAT A TRIP!!!
Well where to start about this weekend.....
THURSDAY: I guess I can start with Thursday afternoon after school I went with Sarah to get her hair dyed even blonder then we went to the freshman plays of Aladdin and Narnia which were really good. Then went home and watched Pirates of the Caribbean, this is at about midnight by the way, while packing for a trip that left the next morning.

FRIDAY: Well Friday I had triple free to start with so I got to wonder around the International Festival. Then at 1 o'clock I boarded a bus with 70 fellow basketball player for a weekend that wouldn't soon be forgotten. We arrived in Holland around 2 hours later to play our first game at 4. Our team being from an international school play by international rules however the school we were at was an American school so we had the chance to play a game we didn't understand lol. In addition just to note the Refs. Were blind and could not call anything for their lives and our coach asked them if they could please "remove their heads from their rectums" but you will hear more later. So Friday afternoon the Girls JV and Boys Varsity won and the girls varsity played really well. This is one of the few school where we have to stay in hotel rooms for the night so naturally we were excited to get a little more freedom. Well the last game ended at 9:00 and by the time everyone got back to the bus was around 9:45...Then we have a bus full of athletes who haven't eaten since breakfast soo driving aimlessly around middle of nowhere Netherlands to try and find Burger King, nothing like a good meal right? So we finally, once everyone had very healthy food which was around 11:30 p.m now boarded the bus yet again. This time we drove to our "less then one star" as they called it, hotel. We arrive through the door at 12:00pm (which is two hours past our normal curfew) and of course it takes time to check-into give or take 50 rooms so I believe we got settled around 1am. Then of course being the teenagers we are, we hung out for awhile taking pictures, talking and listening to music. So we got to bed around 3ish.

Boys Varsity ---------Sarah -----------Sarah and Ana (one of the many fouls)
SATURDAY: well we started the morning being woken up by our coach at 8am, meaning we had 5hrs of sleep maximum. We preceded to have our hotel breakfast, pack up and board the bus yet again. My JV team played at 10am and won once again. Then the Varsity girls played and the refs. Were insane. They were horrible only calling against our team and not even agreeing between all three of themselves. At one point a STJ player was shooting free throws from a shooting fowl, after She made the first one the refs. Decided there wasn't a fowl anymore and the basket didn't count. INCREDIBLE! Then came the Undefeated boys varsity game....Well one of the starters had 4 fouls called on him in the first 6 minutes, now ok this could happen but do you really think a starter for a 3 yr undefeated team would honestly foul that much I don't think so!!! So after realizing the refs. Wouldn't be fair the boys coach told them to "Don't even breath, they will call it a foul" this coming from a man who eat, sleeps, and lives basketball, he knows what he is talking about. These are also only the things coming from the coaches the parents in the stands who are normally very calm were losing their minds, the reverend was yelling! Things were bad! Well even if the refs. Were bias we still beat them again on Saturday. The better team always wins. After we had racial comments made to our team and many more obcensties yelled at us we got to board our bus for the final time. Two hours later we were home free. Quite a sporting weekend. Then we finished it off with my birthday bowling party. Had a great time with all my friends.

SUNDAY: Pretty calm day compared to the others. I think now saying "I'm tired" is an understatement but I'm about to go watch the SUPERBOWL until 4:30am and be at school by 8:30 Score!

Sounds like a fun and busy weekend. Good Pictures too. I guess ref-ing is in trouble all over the world.
Even I watched the Super Bowl, first time I have watched football in probably 15 years! It was interesting in Seattle, at half-time I drove up to Margy's to watch the final half with her. There was no one on the road, every house had multiple cars parked in front and every neighborhood pub was packed! It was weird. This Kansas City Star editorial says it all: http://www.miami.com/mld/miamiherald/sports/football/13801313.htm
